Ananta Hikes & Resort (the “Organizer”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you enquire about or enroll in a programme (the “Edutour”), and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address and, for school groups, the name of the educational institution.
- Enrollment details: participant age, gender (needed for rooming) and travel dates.
- Food allergies and medical conditions: shared by participants or their parents/guardians at the time of enrollment so that we can plan safely.
- Website data: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, and any details you submit through our enquiry or enrollment forms.
How we use it
- To process enrollments and communicate with participants, parents/guardians and schools.
- To arrange rooming, meals, activities and travel insurance.
- To respond to emergencies, including seeking consent for medical treatment where needed.
- To answer queries and share programme updates.
Sharing your information
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with parties needed to deliver the Edutour: the associated educational institution, programme partners, the third-party travel insurer, and transport or accommodation providers. We may also disclose information where required by law or in an emergency.
Children’s information
Many of our participants are students. Information about minors is collected from, and should be provided by, their parents or legal guardians.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and retain it only as long as needed for the programme, safety and legal purposes.
